Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Blood Cancer Alliance?
We are a coalition of 15 blood cancer charities that represents those affected by blood cancer. We are campaigning for increased recognition of blood cancer amongst policy makers.
We aim to improve the lives of those living with blood cancer by raising the profile of the unique issues faced by patients and encouraging focused healthcare policy.
How is the Blood Cancer Alliance funded?
Whilst we receive funding from the pharmaceutical industry for the work we carry out, we are wholly independent of these commercial organisations, and that includes our decision making.
You can find more information on our funding policy with pharmaceutical companies here.
Where should I go to find out more about a specific blood cancer?
Head over to our resources page, where you can read about some of the types of blood cancer that our members represent in more detail.
